Year 2009 appears to be a worrying year for the whole economic situation in the world.
Which is your opinion about it?

It is true. From the horizon black clouds are coming forward but you see… for a person like me who has been dealing in the market for over 30 years, this moment appears serious but not so irreparable. My experience has taught me that in such difficult moments it is important to work in the best way, with renewed passion and with the conviction that no insurmountable problems exist. This is the atmosphere that I want and that actually exists in AB Arredamenti.

The 30th Anniversary of AB Arredamenti has terminated with the end of 2008.
Did this year fulfil your expectations?

Honestly... I would like to say that I had bigger expectations, but as I said before, AB Arredamenti is linked to an international framework and this has caused some more issue in comparison to our forecasts. But I do not want to complain and I have to say that the results obtained at the end of 2008 are beyond the forecasts that I had reviewed towards the end of October 2008. Therefore my answer is Yes, it was a good birthday.

Crisis permitting, which are the new projects?

We have many projects and the determination to fulfil them too. In this moment we proceed with a control of the results that, I would say, it’s in “real time” since, as you know, in times of crisis every strategy has to be checked with a rigorous and deep attention. We have a united and prepared management used to competing and, let me say it, to fighting. We have ambitious projects of growth and we will pursue them with tenacity and passion determined to win.
